Attendance

You cannot learn if you are not here.  I understand issues and circumstances that prevent you from attending school, in those events; you are required to make sure you obtain the missing notes, classwork, quiz or test.  If you are in school any portion of the day and homework was given you must turn in your work.  If you know in advance of days you will be out, come and ask for some work.

Class Routine

Each and Every day there will be a warm up activity to be completed the first ten minutes of class.  You must take notes and participate in all class activities.  Notebooks are to be left in the classroom to prevent them from being lost.

Test and Quiz Policy

Tests are given after every chapter and or skilled learned and usually are 25 questions. The students will be notified in advance. Quizzes are given randomly, however know that an assessment will be given usually on every Friday and sometimes during the week. Quizzes are typically 10 questions. Partial credit will not be given when grading tests or quizzes. Make sure you study each night.  All tests and quizzes will be sent home to be reviewed and signed by parents and returned to teacher.  All tests and quizzes will be kept in a portfolio in the classroom.  Signed tests and quizzes will be reviewed and be counted as a homework grade.  If the test or quiz is not returned it will be counted as a zero for homework.
